With Ramses project, implemented by Insula SpA and promoted by the Venice City Council, a one centimeter accurate, three-dimensional representation, of the street surface of the historic center and island was made. On the altimetry module of the website www.ramses.it the values of the isolines for the complete pedestrian viability can be consulted. The data show the height of the ground elevation with respect to the zero of Punta Salute, which has been established at the beginning of the twentieth century as the mean sea level of several decades centered on 1897. Currently the average sea level is about 26 cm higher than this reference. With the most recent surveys the following table was obtained, which shows the progressive percentages of flooding related to the pedestrian public area of the historic town and Giudecca island.
